A Danish couple, Anna and Asger Lunde, have traveled from Aarhus to Portugal with an electric car and share their experiences with charging infrastructure in Southern Europe. They have been on the road since spring and have now reached halfway in their journey. They have found that charging infrastructure in Southern Europe is much better than they had expected. They have only had a few problems with charging stations being out of order, but they have always been able to find an alternative charger. They have also found it very easy to charge with Elbilappen and ladebrikken from Norsk elbilforening. They have been able to use credit cards along highways in Germany and have also been able to charge at many other places in Southern Europe. They have also found it very nice to be part of the electric car community and that other electric car drivers are very helpful. They recommend other electric car drivers to join Elbilforeningen and use Elbilappen and ladebrikken. They hope that other electric car drivers can learn from their experiences and get a better idea of what it is like to travel with an electric car in Southern Europe.
